Here is the happy little girl you are all used to seeing in the pictures on this blog. Today, she got her cast. I'm sure her arm feels better in the cast, but I think the real reason she is happy is the color. The doctor let Kimberlee pick the cast color, and of course, she chose her favorite color - Purple. The cast is supposed to stay on for about 4 weeks, so we'll se how she does. On a side note, it turns out that the so-called orthopedic surgeon does nothing more than look at the x-ray in cases like this. One of his assistants did all of the real work. What a rip! I saw the x-ray. Anyone could have told you the arm is broken from the x-ray. Oh well. The most important thing is the health of our daughter. I'm still a little miffed, though, because the health of our bank account comes in a close second.

I love the color! She looks much happier! Can't wait to talk to you on the computer so we can see the cool cast "in person."
Purple is my favorite color too! Good Choice! Poor little girl though, to have to lug that big ol' cast around.
Carl I totally understand. We have actually told a few doctors that we wouldn't be coming in to any more appointments because what they offered was ridiculous and it didn't have any direct affect on our child's health (in my case lucky for the bank account).
I hope that the arm gets better fast, that is no fun at all! Except for the purple i guess...
