One Month Down

It is has been one month. I admit the month as whole went by fast but each day and night seem long. Just a few updated pictures. There are more Bekah than Jacob so I guess we better work on that.. don't want to be unfair and not treated equally already. In my defense, I do believe some of Jacob's pictures got deleted when Kimee did her picture scavenger hunt.

Bekah for a few days would pull on her ear. Here you can she is getting a little too much to eat..

We are not sure how much they weigh but Bekah is by far the bigger one still. More pictures of the two of them to come.

Bekah will furrow her brow quite often.

Jacob sleeping on the couch. These are preemie clothes and he is just now filling them out.

Kimee loves to help and hold the babies, especially Jacob.

These pictures were part of Kimee's photo scavenger hunt. I made a list of things and people around the house. I read her what was on the list and then away she went with the camera. She had to take pictures of things on the list. She loved this. She had a few pictures that were not so good but she did take these. She took Ethan's and told me that this was on the list under "doing something funny." She took the one of me and told me this was on the list under "someone you love".. (Aww, my 4-year-old CAN be sweet!!) For the record, I did make the list, but I honestly thought when I put "someone you love" on the list she would take pictures of the babies. Also, I didn't know why she was taking my picture either until after when we looked at all the pictures and she told why she took them. Anyway, that is what we have been up to lately.

Kimee's Big Day

September has been a busy month for us with quite a few significant changes. Kimee started preschool just a few weeks ago at our elementary school. Carl took her the first day. Kimee thought this was pretty awesome. It worked out well because I'm not sure if I could have handled seeing my little girl looking so grown-up going off school without me crying. I would like to blame the post-pregnancy hormones for me being emotional. Okay maybe just MORE emotional. I had to take the babies to their doctor's appointment, which was at the same time her class started, so that was a good "excuse" for me not to take her. She loves it. Carl said she just ran into the classroom without even giving him a hug. We are excited for her. Now lets hope we can make sure she is not late to her class, which starts at noon. Life is crazy having 4 kids but luckily my mom has been a great to help out during the days.

Here is to Kimee's first day at preschool.

Our family, still hard to believe we are a family of 6 now. Kimee all ready to go.

Kimee wanted a picture of Mom, Bekah, and Ethan. Ethan can't be without his trucks or trains.

Baby Pictures

Our friends, Austin and Andrea, came over last Saturday to take some pictures of the twins. Andrea is the photographer, and Austin is her "lovely assistant." She did a great job, and some more of the pictures can be seen on her Photography blog. Click here to see the pictures. You can also get to her blog by clicking the "Brown Eyed Photography" link to the right, just below our "blog archive."

Ready or not...

The twins got tired of waiting and decided to come join our family sooner than later. Jacob and Rebekah (yes as of today they have names) are healthy. The internet at the hospital is slow to load and the babies are hungry AGAIN already so enjoy the pictures and more to come later.
