This is what the house looked like on May 23rd. We have made a lot of progress since then, though. This picture gives you the best idea, so far, as to what the house will look like. We are hoping for a May 30 4-way inspection. That inspection covers framing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. In other words, we'll be pretty far along at that point.
As you can see from the picture, we are making some progress. We are a couple of days behind where we would like to be, but still ahead of schedule. Those trusses you see in front of the house are going to go up tomorrow. Then, it will begin to really look like a house. We'll post more pictures this weekend. You can see that we should end up with a pretty good view of the mountains. Enjoy.
Kimberlee learned two new tricks last night. She took her first steps! Unfortunately, she would not do it in front of the camera. Her record is four consecutive steps before getting too excited and falling down. We did get her second trick on camera. We hope you enjoy this video of Kimberlee climbing the stairs. It wouldn't have taken her so long if she didn't keep looking back at the camera.
