Its been a while
This is the most recent "normal" picture we have of her sadly.
Kimee is just a silly, crazy, girl. She is excited for Spring/Summer. You can just tell her brain is going a million miles an hour. She really likes to rhyme and will make up words just to make them rhyme. She talks non-stop. The other day she was in a dress and I explained to her about how to be lady-like. A few days later in the car, Daddy burped and she exclaimed, "Daddy, that was not very Daddy-like." Also we were talking about Halloween(it is never close enough for the kids) and I asked her if she wanted to wear her play princess dress and she responded, "That's not very Halloweenish.." She likes to play games and we play old maid. I always try to let her win and pick the old maid if she has it. The other day it was down to two cards and she had the old maid. She is still learning how to hold her cards so I usually can see what she has pretty easily, so I knew which one was the old maid. Kimee had to clear things up though. She said in a whisper, "Mommy don't pick this one, it's the old maid." (She is trying to get the grasp of the game and thinks it is fun to have the old maid at the end.) I said Ok. Then she leaned over and said, "I have to tell you a secret Mommy. This one is the old maid cuz of the bend in the card.." She had bent the old maid card so she would always know which one it was. Too smart for her own good sometimes.
Ethan is ALL-BOY.. I really don't understand what goes through his mind. He is totally different than Kimberlee was at this age. He is into everything. His interests are the toilet, (he just learned how to flush and has already succeeded in putting things down it several times), dirt, water, anything that Kimee has, and pulling things out of drawers. I might have invest in some childproof drawer locks. Today we went to feed the ducks. We went to a little pond and both kids enjoyed throwing the bread into the water. Then I look down to get some more bread and see Ethan wading right into the water. He was so fast. He was waist-deep before I could grab him.. Needless to say, I don't think we will be feeding ducks there again.
Carl and I haven't really had many changes. Carl just finished a class and will be done with school in June. We can hardly wait for a fun-filled summer. In anticipation of summer, we recently purchased an old 1972, 14-feet, bumper pull trailer. It is not much to look at on the outside but is pretty sweet on the inside for the year. (Might have to put my homemaking and interior design skills to use soon.) It comes with a stove, fridge, heater, bathroom, and lots of storage. Kimee was so excited that she wanted to sleep in it this weekend. She convinced Daddy (and it didn't take much) to use it in the driveway. Ethan fell asleep inside so I had to be inside the house with him. (Convenient for me right?)Kimee slept all night. When she woke up she said, " Awww, I feel so awake." I guess she slept well. That's about it for us.
