2012 in Review.

I haven't posted since Halloween so that tells you something,,really it was all because I couldn't find the charger for the rechargable batteries.. Long story.

This post is mostly for our family record purposes but for those who care and want read don't say you weren't warned.  I didn't think we had done much but after looking at it, we didn't do too bad. I think we finally felt adjusted to having 4 kids.  Here is our family 2012 year in a review.
JANUARY

The twins at about 4 months started interacting with each other.. for good or bad.
FEBRUARY

Got Rice Cereal??? You want a piece of me? Come get it.. Really they liked it.
MARCH

Babies took their first stroller ride with my new TRIPLE stroller. It was my sanity. I know a little early to out walking so maybe I was just a little excited to use it...Jacob hated it and Bekah loved it. Figures..can't please them both.
Bekah and Jacob at 6 months.. The one milestone I took pictures so of course it has to be documented.
APRIL

We got our backyard ready to finish after 3 years; the curbing BEFORE
AFTER, this would be the new home of swing set after it was re-furnished.
We decided to refinish and re-build the swing set instead of buy a new one. What a project. This was the before.  The finished one doesn't come till July but I will post it to save the suspense.. Yes, I was starting to
wonder it wouldn't make its home on our patio..

Ethan got a buzz becaue he wouldn't hold still and had to go short to cover up the knick.

MAY

We made our first road trip out-of-state with the twins to see my niece Oaklie get blessed.
Kimee had her Preschool Graduation. Way to go!!
Her teachers loved her and she really loved them too!!
We upgraded our "rig." We went  "camping" with it right before Memorial Day weekend at Utah Lake.
While camping, we also took a day to hike the "Y". We weren't ready to each pack a baby and help the other kids, even though it would have been fine in hindsight, so the babies stayed with Grandma.
Ethan loving one of the best parts of camping.. smores and more importantly the marshmellow.
Roasting (aka burning or lighting on fire) marshmellows
Jacob learned life was hard..and that Mommy may get distracted..
Bekah learned this lesson too.

JUNE

Continued the tradition of the Art City Days Balloons. It was great to go with my Dad one last time before he left. They were still in the MTC.

My parents left to serve a mission in MONGOLIA!!
Father's Day

JULY

We had fun doing the parade and the hot air balloons. Here are some of the kids in their 4th of July duds. We, to my dismay, didn't get a family picture.

Worthy to note but not worthy of pictures was that Carl and I ran together the 10 K Freedom Run and SURVIVED.

Jacob, the happiest, smiliest baby.
 Kimee and Bekah
 Ethan and Bekah
Andy and Abbey came to visit and we went to Sp.Fork Resevoir.  Babies loved the sand.

Kimee's 5th Birthday
AUGUST

Kimee started Kindergarten!
These next pictures may or may not have been what it looked like somedays (most) in our house.

Kimee loved to help with the babies.

SEPTEMBER

Jacob and Bekah turned ONE YEAR OLD!! We took them outside to eat their cake. Jacob ate his part and then what Bekah didn't want.. what a nice brother.

Family photos that could have gone better.

OCTOBER

For fall break we went to Moab with the trailer, again "camping" in  RV park with hookups and showers and restrooms. Its the only way to go with kids.
We found this nice tourist place, just outside of Moab. We are glad we went. A house was built in this rock.
We spent a few days in Arches.
Our kids were pretty good hikers. You can't see Jacob but he was there on my back.
NOVEMBER

Ethan turned 3-years-old. He loves trucks and has become quite the handful.
DECEMBER

The very best part of Christmas is...

A new tutu skirt to wear EVERYDAY for the next week.

 A new toy TRUCK
 A pair of new boots
 A new toy...
 Matching PJ's
Getting together with family and good food (Maddoux Steakhouse)

 having cousins

Being with your brother and sister and their families
The present after Christmas was to have cousins come stay with us for a few days.
The lights at Spanish Fork. This one is for my Dad.

Whoa after all that we couldn't be happier about the memories and fun we had this year. We can't wait to see what next year brings..Heres to 2013!
