As you can see from the picture, Kimberlee broke her arm yesterday. She and Emilee were picking up some french fries and fried cauliflower (trust me, it really is good) for our company party, and Emilee (holding Kimberlee) tripped and fell. She didn't land on Kimberlee, but Kimberlee landed on her arm and broke her humerus bone (turns out it was not that funny) just above the elbow. The picture is her with a temporary splint and wrap. Her arm was too swollen for a cast. She'll go in on Monday or so to get a new x-ray and a cast. She's in pretty good spirits about the whole thing. I think it affected Emilee more than Kimberlee anyway. Kimberlee is being very good at not picking at the wrap because Emilee told her that it is a really big band-aid that only the doctor can take off.
Anyway, Kimberlee survived her first trip to the emergency room. Let's just hope my bank account will also survive. P.S Emilee is doing fine, just a few minor road rash scrapes. She still feels bad about the whole thing.

Poor Kimee! We feel so bad for her, but what a cool sling! We love snoopy!
Oh sooo sad. Poor little girl and poor mama. Luckily the young heal much faster than the adults!
oh wow! Hopefully Emilee is okay. I always fear of doing the same thing.. except I am pretty sure I would fall on top of my child. Wishing a speedy recover for all parties. (Including your bank account.)
